Over the past few years Taiwan developed from an industrial country to a leading postmodern nation. Production is largely outsourced to China, while the services sector already makes up for 70% of the GDP. But where production had little need for presentation – Taiwan produced mainly parts for large foreign brands – the service sector offers the Taiwanese a new communication challenge: the importance of a corporate identity.
Entrepreneurs often recognize the importance of a well-positioned and self-profiling organization but lack the knowledge and experience to make this happen. Together with Taipei-based franchise partner Proad Image Design, Total Identity has introduced the concept of corporate identity in Taiwanese business life. A joint organized seminar on this subject – held July 2006 – was the center of attention for Taiwanese corporations. The follow-up in business consults has started and can also count on large interest.
