Koninklijke Ahrend NV is with more than one hundred years of experience and leadership in the Benelux a brand with a rich history. The relationship with Total Design, changed in Total Identity later, has been formed decades ago to include the development of Mehes furniture design and development of corporate identity in the seventies. From a strategic rapid phase resulted brand and market orientation in a new focus, a new pay-off and brand new dynamics. Besides that the Co ¬ innovation platform and has recently launched and the _Create NOW NOW Flagship Store had opened.
The new pay-off of Ahrend is Humanising_Spaces. This is based on the fact that Ahrend shaping sustainable employment, learning and living environment that encourages work on the people who are moving. Based on co-creation Ahrend creates conditions which enable people both individually and in combination with others to excel. "Humanising_Spaces would literally say humanise spaces," said Hans P Brandt, strategic director of Total Identity on the new pay-off of Ahrend. "People thrive on travel, both physically and mentally," says Remon van Rijn, Marketing Communications Manager at Ahrend. "People in their social context, the right space and the means: that is what matters to Humanising_Spaces."
Innovation
Co_Create NOW is the new innovation platform for Ahrend. Ahrend urges others to work together on innovative, inspiring and effective work environment. "That customers are architects, specifiers and other specialists," says Brandt. "The poor working practices vary greatly per customer. They are thus collectively for each custom filled. " Van Rijn adds: "We now see new opportunities that go far beyond the systematic placing tables, chairs and cabinets. We know how people move, how they function optimally, communicate and excel. Independently and in interaction with other people. We do not make predictions about here, here and now we're working with other parties on the cutting edge of our field. "
Interaction
The naming of the flagship store was owned by Total Identity. The here and now is the connection between past and future and that is reflected in the NOW Flagship Store. Brandt: "NOW Flagship Store is much more than a showroom. It is a platform for sharing ideas and inspiration with workshops and theme nights. It is also an important tool for the customer and its underlying questions really understand, then together the best possible solutions. " That revised customer focus is no surprise: "The customer is in power, his choices freely and critically."
